The Asbury Hotel Wedding, Asbury Park, NJ | Tera & Matt

The best taste in details and decor mixed with the sweetest couple made for such an incredible wedding day at The Asbury Hotel in Asbury Park, NJ. Tera and Matt are not only the cutest couple when they are in each other’s arms, but also the life of the party on and off the dance floor! Every part of this day had me giving the praise hands emoji because everything was so on point!

Tera and her gorgeous bridesmaids rented an AirBnb to get ready in, and holy moly, it was every Pinterest lover’s boho getaway dream! So many live plants complimented the naturally lit rooms and thoughtful decor. This morning was so fun from photographing all of Tera’s details (vintage stamps, marble tray, and wooden ring dish engraved with their initials gifted by Matt’s cousin to name a few)! Tera incorporated so many tasteful touches of rose gold throughout the day from her getting ready details to the table number signs at the reception and name tags at each table setting! Tera’s gorgeous dress was accompanied by her bridesmaid’s blue dresses in all different styles (including an adorable jumpsuit with pockets)!! Such a fun take on bridesmaid attire!

It was such a pleasure getting to photograph Darling and Pearl Letterpress’ gorgeous work on a wedding day, I’ve always been such an admirer of her invites, and Tera & Matt’s invitation suite was simply exquisite! Tera’s clutch was a gift from Matt’s grandma from her own wedding day, which was such a special heirloom! One of my favorite parts of the morning was when our incredibly talented friends from Blue Jasmine Floral stopped by to drop off the bouquets. Paulina and TJ put in their absolute best work for this big day — the flowers were unlike anything I’ve ever seen – from their vibrancy to their movement, everything was BREATHTAKING! So many incredible features in one bouquet that followed through to the floral design at the ceremony and reception. I’m always so in awe of that duo!

I loved all of the special moments and touches of this wedding day! From the joy & laughter filled ceremony, and the indoor garden set up Tori P & Tori K helped me create for portraits using some of the table centerpieces, to their West Virginia friends gathering together to sing Take Me Home Country Roads and the Pittsburgh cookie table with a huuuge array of sweets for their guests to take home! They also had a super cool lounge set up with a wicker peacock chair and Moroccan ottoman poufs, and an amazing neon sign saying “The Barrows” that came all the way from Australia! Can you tell how obsessed I am with their entire day?! 🙂

Tera and Matt, thank you both for being the most down-to-earth, funny, and kind people! It was such a joy spending the day capturing these incredibly special memories for you. Love you guys! xoxo
