Windows on the Water at Surfrider Beach Club Wedding, NJ | Caitlin & Mike

These two beautiful humans had such a stunning, magical wedding day with their ceremony at Water Witch Club and reception at Windows on the Water at Surfrider Beach Club, and I am beyond excited to share their story and day on my blog today! I absolutely loved working with Jennifer Tolento, an incredible wedding planner who helped make Caitlin and Mike’s day a total dream! She’s awesome and it’s always so much fun working with great vendors! It makes a world of a difference having vendors who truly adore their couples and care deeply about giving them the best day ever!

THEIR WEDDING DAY:
WINDOWS ON THE WATER AT SURFRIDER BEACH CLUB, NJ

Caitlin and Mike had such a relaxed, easygoing, and crazy fun wedding day with plenty of time built in for them to just enjoy the day!! Seriously, one of my favorite things is creating a timeline that allows couples to truly be present so they can celebrate with their loved ones! On a day that goes by so fast, that’s SO important. They had their ceremony outside at the Water Witch Club, it was so beautiful there with the most perfect weather, and stunning view! I’m always up for an outdoor ceremony, and this one did not disappoint! I loved the unique touches they chose to make their day truly their own! My favorite was the mini-cocktail hour at Water Witch Club after the ceremony for guests to mingle and enjoy the live music by the band “Three Piece Nugget” (even though they had just “Two Piece Nugget” that day, they still crushed it!).

The party continued over at their reception venue for the main cocktail hour and dinner at Windows on the Water at Surfrider Beach Club! Whew, it is such a gorgeous venue right on the beach, so the views were unbeatable! Of course, we had to do some extra husband and wife portraits overlooking the ocean! 😉 Caitlin and Mike chose the awesome band, Brick Park Entertainment, during the reception, and they had everyone partying and dancing the whole night! Not the mention, they even played Shout! If you know me, you know that’s my JAM!!! It was wonderful! 🙂

During the reception, their friends had secretly arranged for a video message to be played especially for Caitlin and Mike directly from one of their favorite wrestlers, Ric Flair Nature Boy! It was so fun to see how much this sweet couple loved their thoughtful surprise! They were over the moon! Such awesome friends to do this for them, their reactions were priceless!

THEIR LOVE STORY

What I love about these two is how genuinely they adore one another. It’s so clear that they are best friends who were made for each other from the start. Mike says that he loves how Caitlin helps him always be a better person, and Caitlin is endlessly grateful for having Mike there to always make her laugh! Caitlin told me their first date happened after she had actually canceled on him 3 times prior! They finally met up at a bar near Caitlin’s apartment, and they bonded over growing up in central NJ, and coming from small families! Their roots helped them connect from the start and their love story blossomed from there! It showed throughout every little detail and every big smile on their wedding day!

Caitlin and Mike, you two are as dreamy as your wedding day was! I can’t get over how perfect of a day you had, and I am beyond honored to be the one to capture it for you.
