One of my past brides, Stephanie, created such a unique and cohesive set of wedding decor that I absolutely loved! Check out her wedding on the blog here! She put together the design elements on her own, and because she is an amazing decor design goddess and did such an amazing job, I asked her to share some tips for future brides who are working on planning their decor! Check out her advice for putting together design ideas for your wedding below! Thank you, Steph! You’re the best!! xoxo
For us, it was the circle ceremony arch, the carpet runner aisle, the sweetheart jungle dresser and the outdoor living room. Specifically the sweetheart jungle – this was a labor of love. I wanted to figure out how to have our sweetheart table surrounded by plants that we could then have in our home for years to come. The dresser was my dad’s childhood furniture which was also super special.
The smaller details added so much love to our wedding day. We sourced lavender from a farm we love to be thrown after the ceremony. My husband’s cousin, Kelsey Durkin, hand drew sketches of all of our favorite places (in green!) to use as table numbers/cards which was such a special way to incorporate custom art into our day.
We loved sourcing all the goods to make our vision come to life. We are so happy to get to live every day with our “wedding carpet”, “wedding furniture” and our “wedding plants.” It gives us a chance to remember our wedding every day
