Their Session: Colorado Street Bridge, Pasadena, California
Stephanie & Jordan’s engagement session at the Colorado Street Bridge in Pasadena, CA was a DREAM! These two are so much fun, and were so down to explore and try any crazy pose I threw their way! 🙂 Stephanie’s daughter Kayla also joined us for the shoot (and she may or may not have stolen the show! 😉 But for real, she’s the cutest!) I loved getting to spend time with this sweet family, and capture a little piece of their story! Before we dive into just some of my favorite photos, let me tell you a little about Stephanie & Jordan’s love story!
Their Love Story
Stephanie & Jordan first met when Jordan spotted Stephanie at their church, and then found her on Instagram. These two connected, and now here they are soon to be married!! A “typical millennial love story!” as Stephanie says. When I asked Stephanie about her & Jordan’s ideal date nights she said, “We are not your typical couple who get all fancy. We are all about lounging and watching movies! Cooking together and relaxing is the perfect date night to us!”
The Proposal
You’ve got to hear the sweet plan that Jordan cooked up for his proposal to Stephanie! Stephanie tells it best, “My friend’s birthday is in December (she was in on it). She told me she was going to have a fancy birthday dinner. I got all dressed up and as we were driving to the dinner Jordan told me we both looked good so he wanted to take some pictures at signal hill. Signal hill was always our spot we would go to talk and spend time together. It has the prettiest views! So I agreed, and as we were pulling up I noticed an arch decorated. I actually got myself ready for my proposal, not my friend’s birthday! lol good thing I liked my outfit. My parents and his were there too. When we went back home they had an engagement party for us all set up. As I walked into the house everyone yelled out surprise! BEST DAY EVER!”

Stephanie & Jordan, I loved photographing you two (and Kayla!) and had the best time exploring Colorado Street Bridge with you guys! Thank you so much for such a fun evening! You guys are the best! Thank you Jessica!! These were taken at Colorado St Bridge Park, and then we followed a path down to below the bridge across the street from the parking lot! I hope that helps!
