Maurade and Jason tied the knot at the barn at Perona Farms in Andover, New Jersey surrounded by friends and family. I loved photographing and being a part of their day. Maurade & Jason carefully planned every detail, and their day was nothing short of a dream! And I loved how they incorporated so many meaningful details. Maurade wore Jason’s grandmother’s bracelet, Jason’s tie had little elephants on it for good luck (and also because Maurade & Jason are honeymooning in Kenya and Zanzibar!), and the back of the ceremony card had a beautiful poem by E.E. Cummings in memory of Maurade’s father. The insanely beautiful calligraphy pieces were created by a talented friend of Maurade’s, Julia Yu of Paper Soul. (Just wait til you see the place cards!) And the ceremony was officiated by Maurade’s brother, Ross, making it extra special and personal.
From start to finish, their wedding day was incredible! And despite the rain in the forecast, the weather ended up holding out with only a short rain shower during cocktail hour. Maurade and Jason shared the sweetest first look in “the pines” area of Perona Farms, and it looked so whimsical! The outdoor ceremony next to the barn at Perona Farms was so beautiful, with the most stunning floral & fabric adorned arbor, build and decorated by Katelyn Triola. And the reception inside the barn was jaw-droppingly stunning with more beautiful florals, hanging  greenery & edison lightbulbs, a polaroid camera for guests to add to the memories, and a stunning lounge set up by Dovetail Vintage Rentals. And to top it all off, the night ended with some surprise fireworks and s’mores roasting over a firepit. Talk about a perfect ending to a magical day. 🙂
