Sarah & Steve’s Ryland Inn winter wedding was the absolute best way to close out my 2021 wedding season! I can’t say enough about Sarah & Steve and how much I adore these two! It was such a joy to finally get to celebrate their wedding day! Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The excitement, love and energy that filled the day was contagious. And I was extra pumped to get to work alongside my bestie, the amazing and talented Michelle Elise Artistry!! I have approximately a jillion favorite photos, from this day and can’t wait to share! Some of my favorites were during the golden hour glow, and rocking the dance floor, but truly the whole day was simply incredible. Before we dive into all the pics, let me share a little bit of their love story!
When I asked Sarah & Steve to share with me one thing they love about each other, Sarah said, “I love how patient Steve is and yet he’s extremely personable and hilarious. He calms me down 🙂 but there’s never a dull moment.” Steve said, “I love Sarah’s personality.”
Want to hear the story of how these two first met!? Sarah gave me the inside scoop. She said, “Steve’s brother, Mike, and I actually went to Penn State together and were good college friends. However, I had never met Steve before. Summer 2016 I was down the shore and meeting up with some of my girlfriends who were staying in Steve & Mike’s share house. Just like that, Steve and I met at Bar A, had a few drinks, and a few weeks later were dating. Who knew you could find love at the Jersey Shore!” Sounds to me like these two were just meant to be!
I love proposal stories, and Sarah & Steve’s is especially sweet. Sarah told me, “I had an idea that Steve would be proposing and we were pretty open about the topic. However, I was convinced it would either be in NYC (where we lived) or down at the beach. Steve and my parents were committed to surprising me (which isn’t easy to do!). We had a family vacation scheduled in July with my parents and sister down in the Caribbean at Curacao. And just like that, he popped the question! The biggest surprise, his parents were also there! All of which I did not foresee since I never thought he would propose without his family around. We then got to celebrate with all our friends and family once returning home.” Steve pulled off such an incredible surprise for this proposal! So sweet!
Sarah & Steve, congratulations on your marriage!!! I am over the moon happy for you two! Thank you so much for having me be a part of your day and this incredibly special season. I’m so grateful for you! Enjoy every minute of the newlywed bliss! Cheers to the start of your forever!! Love you guys! xoxo
