Melanie and Joseph met during college through a mutual friend, Rachel, who happens to be one of my sweet 2017 brides. Thank you, Ramapo College, for bringing these wonderful people together! 🙂
Back in March, one day, Joseph suggested that he and Melanie should take off of work and have a relaxing day at a winery – a favorite activity of theirs. The owner of the winery suggested that they walk around the vineyard to explore the grounds. Along their walk, they came upon a picnic table, overlooking the vineyard, with roses and wine. Joseph proposed right in this magical spot! They celebrated with a private lunch and wine tasting. Does it get any more perfect than that?!
Melanie and Joseph had me on cloud nine at their Long Beach Island, NJ engagement session! Joseph’s family owns a home in LBI, so we ventured to this favorite shore spot to capture their love. Joseph took us out on a boat in the bay, which was such a treat and made for some awesome shots. As the sun started to set, Barnegat Lighthouse was a perfect location to finish up our session. With a peaceful rock jetty, golden hour light, and some beautiful tall grass, you couldn’t ask for a better ending to our shoot.
I’m so thankful for my adventurous couples, and I can’t wait to celebrate with Melanie and Joseph on their big day next September!
