Melissa and Chris’s Spring Lake, NJ engagement session was an absolute dream! These two are so sweet together and so natural in front of the camera! We started our session at Divine Park, one of my favorite spots in the area. It’s such a beautiful park with so many pretty spots to shoot in! After the park we headed over to the beach a couple blocks away in time for a beautiful golden hour followed by the dreamiest pastel sunset! Melissa and Chris were up for anything including climbing out onto the rock jetty and getting in the ocean at the end of the shoot! (Adventurous couples make my heart so happy!) I may or may not have gotten hit with a wave and got one of my cameras a little salty – but wait til you see the images at the end of this blog post… #worthit. 🙂 Between the incredible locations and this stunning couple – every bit of this shoot was just unreal.
Melissa & Chris first started dating on Melissa’s birthday in June 2014, and this year on her birthday Chris gave Melissa the best birthday present ever. Melissa wrote:
On my birthday, we were going for a walk in downtown Haddonfield, like we usually do after dinner…But this time Chris asked if I wanted to sit down in this little garden area, and he pulled out my birthday card which had a long beautiful letter which he read to me. At the end he asked me to be his wife. It was really nice that there was no one else in the park at that time so we got to enjoy that special moment together by ourselves. Now we are also getting married in June, big things happen in that month for us 🙂
