Their Session: Princeton University Fall Engagement Session
Kelly & Jose’s Princeton University fall engagement session was an absolute blast! These two are so much fun and they have the CUTEST dogs! I loved that it was important to them to include their furbabies in their engagement session. I always enjoy when my couples include their pups in their sessions! It’s the best. 🙂 For their engagement session we explored the gorgeous Princeton campus. With the architecture and fall foliage it was the perfect elegant fall location! I can’t wait to share lots of my favorite photos! But first…their love story!
Their Love Story
When I asked Kelly & Jose to share with me one thing they love about each other they gave wonderful answers. Kelly said, “I love Jose’s calm and collected nature.” Jose said, “I love Kelly’s attention to detail and care for us and others.”
You’ve got to hear how these two met! Kelly told me, “I’m from Belleville and my fiancé, Jose, is from Newark. I started going to a church nearby his house and that’s how we met! My mom invited a couple of people from church to her wedding which included Jose and his family. After the wedding he asked me out and here we are today! It’s been since 2012. 🙂 We then both attended Rutgers, started jobs, and decided to do do a court wedding during the pandemic and we moved in together! Now we live in Belleville together with our shih tzu poodle, Korra and our shorkie Pax. I attached photos of them!”
The Proposal
Their love story only gets sweeter. I love the story of how Jose proposed to Kelly. She said, “Jose proposed on November 7th in Montclair! It was the day Biden won and I remember the vibes were just great in Montclair that day. Lol we went to Faubourg for brunch and then had a walk in Brookdale Park which is where he popped the question! :’) Then, we went to my favorite restaurant in NY where my family and friends were waiting for us. It was super special.”
