Their Session: In Home Newborn Session
Jess and Eric’s in home newborn session with their baby girl, Ilsley, was such a special one. It means the world to me when I get to continue capturing milestones for my couples beyond their wedding day. I got to photograph their maternity session in Spring Lake over the summer. And then this fall, it was so much fun to meet their adorable little girl, and see these two soaking in the new parent bliss. I can’t wait to share so many favorite photos from this session! But first, as always, a little bit of their love story!
Their Love Story
When I asked Jess & Eric to share with me one thing they love about each other, Jess said, “I love to see his joy! He’s got a beautiful spirit, a love of spontaneity, and is driven to making the most out of life.” Eric said he loves that Jess, “made me a cat and human dad.”
Jess & Eric met while working for the New York Rangers in 2011. Jess told me, “We remained close friends and teammates for years but didn’t start officially dating until 2014. We truly are one of those rare “friends first” relationships. From there our relationship grew and we were engaged out in Napa in 2017 and married the following May at Bear Brook Valley in NJ.” I had the honor of photographing their beautiful Bear Brook Valley wedding back in 2018. I adore these two and photographing them is my fave!
