Carlos & Angie’s moody restaurant & bar engagement session was so much fun, and so true to their vibe. These two love to party and had a vision for a fun engagement session at one of their favorite spots, Osteria del Corso. Angie & Carlos are good friends of ours, so it was extra special to celebrate their engagement by taking some photos to document this season and all the celebrating to come! I am so excited to share all these photos, but first, a little bit of their love story!
I asked Carlos & Angie to share with me one thing they love about each other. They gave the sweetest answers. Angie said, “I love how determined Carlos is. His confidence makes anything he sets his mind to, achievable. He is so hardworking, as a product of his determination, and I can’t believe how lucky I am to have a man like him by my side.”
Carlos said, “I love how much of a supportive person Angie is. Angie since day one has always been supportive of me in my line of work and personal life and continues to push me to be a better person. She knows how to make me smile and happy, even on the gloomiest days.”
These two first met at a mutual friends’ birthday party at a bar (Midland Brewhouse) in January 2018. Angie told me, “After chatting it up a little bit that night, we ended up following each other on social media and realized that we both were crazy party people and loved to go out. We spent the next few weeks going out almost every weekend, dancing and being the life of the party. After 3 months, we were now known by our friends as the life of the party. We went on a friend trip to Miami, after seeing how great we complimented each other, we decided to make it official and Carlos asked me to be his girlfriend on Ocean Ave.”
You’ve got to hear how Carlos proposed to Angie! 🙂 Angie gave me the inside scoop! She said, “Carlos told me that we were going to the sunflower farm at Happy Day Farms in Manalapan. We went with my parents and grandmother who was visiting from Ecuador. After taking some awesome pictures and exploring the Sunflower maze, Carlos got on one knee and proposed to me. I was so shocked and was definitely not expecting it. He then told me that we were gonna go meet his parents at a restaurant to have a family dinner to celebrate. Well, there was another surprise because when we got to the restaurant (Bella Napoli) all of our closest friends were there along with our immediate family. We ended up having such a great day with our friends and family, truly an unforgettable day.”
Angie & Carlos, we love you guys so much, and are so excited for you two and the start of this next chapter! Thanks so much for having me photograph your engagement photos! We are SO pumped for your wedding next year and all the celebrating in between!! Sending the biggest hug! xoxo
