Their Session: NJ In Home Newborn Session
Stephanie & Patrick’s NJ in home newborn session was so incredibly sweet. I loved capturing these early days of having baby Patrick home with them in their beautiful NJ home. Their pup Kona is the best big brother and of course had to be a part of the shoot. Baby Patrick’s nursery was so beautifully decorated, and using other spaces in their home that they love to hang out as a family felt especially meaningful. I’m so excited to share these photos! But first…a little bit about Stephanie & Patrick and their story!
Their Love Story
Stephanie & Patrick first met at Ramapo College in 2014! As Stephanie tells it, “After meeting in college, we had mutual friends and quickly became close. We started dating in 2015 after hanging out all summer and the rest after that just fell into place! We got engaged in 2020 on Island Beach State Park during Covid with a beach picnic with our dog, Kona. In March of 2022 we got married at Perona Farms – our dream venue since the beginning of dating! We always said we wanted to get married there. And finally we got pregnant with Patrick in September 2023 after taking many trips international and local, 10+ including Italy twice and Greece!”
When I asked what their favorite part of being parents is, Stephanie told me, “Just in awe everyday that we were able to create such a perfect little baby that is all ours! Seeing the smiles he gives us and all the snuggles just makes our day everyday. We hope baby Patrick gets Patrick’s determination and work ethic, and of course his features! And we hope baby Patrick gets my easy going personality and patience! We also hope he gets our loving nature and selfless traits we share with each other.”
