Their Session: Cross Estate Gardens Anniversary Session
Towana & Jordan’s Cross Estate Gardens anniversary session was such a joy! These two are so sweet together and have an inspiring kind of love. Just seeing the way the care for each other and share in joy together, even in the littlest ways, you can tell they’ve got something special. It was such an honor to capture this milestone and celebrate another beautiful year of marriage in the books for Towana & Jordan! Happy Anniversary, you two! Before we dive into a bunch of favorite photos, let me share a little bit of their love story.
Their Love Story
Towana & Jordan first met in the cafeteria at their college, Kean University. Jordan told me, “I was in mid-conversation with a mutual friend that both Towana and I shared, when I suddenly noticed a gorgeous queen sitting next to her. At that moment I was love struck and so enamored by her beauty, wit, and charm. This was the start of our journey. That for sure was the best day of my life.”
They took their relationship to the next level, when Jordan asked Towana to be his wife. Towana said, “Jordan proposed to me in front of my family and friends at my birthday dinner. I was so thrilled by his actions yet so caught off guard lol. We were together for 4 1/2 years at that point and we knew that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. It was such a beautiful and grand moment that I will never forget.” They tied the knot at the gorgeous Madison Hotel.
In celebrating their anniversary, I asked them to share with me what they’re loving about being married. Towana said she loves “constantly being with my best friend and exploring all of life’s moments together as one. Keeping God as the number one source for our marriage. Jordan said, “having someone to come home to, planning for the future and sharing ideas with one another, growing and evolving together with the one you love most. Always keeping God first in our union.”
