Their Session: NY In Home Newborn Session
Mika & Austin’s NY in home newborn session was so incredibly special to me. A couple years ago, we had the joy of photographing Mika & Austin’s beautiful Spring wedding at one of my favorite venues: Park Chateau! And their engagement session in Jersey City before that. And now they’ve added a new addition to their family, and I had the privilege of capturing another special chapter in their love story. Their sweet pup Stella, is now a big sister to her baby brother, Pierce! Stella was so cute (as always) and was a secondary star of the show for sure. I think it’s the most wholesome thing to see furbabies and their new human siblings. It’s the best!
Pierce’s nursery was beautifully designed with character elements I loved, like the turned wood crib, and customized giraffe rocking horse. Mika and Austin’s beautiful home had amazing window light and impeccable style, making it an amazing location to shoot in. Because we did their session before the holidays, we took some Christmas-y photos by the tree as well! Their living room was so beautifully decorated! I have so many favorite photos to share from this session!
To the New Parents
It truly always means the world to me when I get to photograph multiple life events and seasons for my couples. Mika and Austin, thank you so much for having me document this newborn chapter! It was such a joy getting to see you two become parents and meet your beautiful son! Thank you for trusting me with so many of your special memories. I love you guys!
