Their Wedding Day: Summer Coach House at Ryland Inn
Taylor and Alex’s summer Coach House at Ryland Inn wedding was a joyful, colorful, special day! These two infused so much unique, personal style in so many elements of their wedding day. Taylor’s floral embroidered veil was an absolute show stopper, and I love that Alex wore his cowboy boots with his suit. Some of my favorite parts of their wedding day included their emotional first look, some sweet moments with grandparents on the dance floor, and their portraits in the incredible blooming florals around the grounds at Ryland! Taylor and Alex radiate so much love when they’re together, and their wedding day made it all even more sweet! I have so many favorite images from this day to share, but first, a little bit of their love story!
Their Love Story
Taylor & Alex shared one thing they love about each other. Taylor told me, “I love Alex’s heart and how much he cares and loves his family and friends. He’s so kind.” Alex said he loves, “that she is a “come with” kind of person. She will come with me and stand by me no matter what, and it means everything to me.”
Taylor told me about how she and Alex first met. She said, “In true 2020 fashion, we met on a dating app called Hinge! On Hinge you can reply to someone’s picture, so I replied to his picture calling him cute and the rest is history!”
The Proposal
You’ve got to hear how Alex proposed! Taylor said, “After faking me out a few times, Alex proposed a day after my birthday at his grandparents shore house! He was so nervous and had the idea to do it at the end of the dock, but his grandfather got in his head and made him even more nervous about dropping the ring off the dock! Alex isn’t a very emotional guy, so seeing him so nervous and cry the way he did was the sweetest thing, how could I say no?? He says he would have done it differently, but I wouldn’t change a thing!”
