Ally & Paul’s fall Hamilton Farm wedding was classically beautiful in every way. We had the most beautiful, warm fall day at peak stunning foliage time in early November. I loved the special touches Ally & Paul brought into their day to make the venue and the experience feel unique to them. The glowing lanterns they had hung above the outdoor cocktail space added so much depth, warmth, and magic to this space and the guest experience at cocktail hour. I also LOVE the black and white checked dance floor, and soft swags of fabric added to the ceiling in the reception space!
Ally & Paul’s portraits during golden hour were so stunning — I think some of my all time favorite Hamilton Farm portraits!! The sunset in combination with the fall leaves was absolutely breathtaking! And the dance floor was an absolute BLAST through the whole reception. There are so many fun dancing photos! I can’t wait to share all my favorites from this day, but first a little bit of their love story!
When I asked Ally & Paul to share with me one thing they love about each other, they gave the sweetest answers. Ally said, “I love Paul’s humor. He always can make me laugh when I’m feeling down or in a bad mood.” Paul said, “I love Ally’s bubbly personality. She always makes me smile.”
Ally & Paul first met at the Great American Pub in Conshohocken in 2019. Ally told me, “Paul is 2 years older than me. I was still in college (freshly 21) and then we actually reconnected when I graduated and moved back home in 2021 over the summer. We both went out with our friends the first night bars opened back up after COVID. We ended up at the great American pub again! It was very funny. Almost like we had picked up where we had left off, which made our first official date less nerve-wracking.”
Ally told me all about the proposal – it’s a good story! She said, “Paul proposed to me over July 4th weekend in Siesta Key, FL. My family has a vacation home there and we always go down for the Fourth. We had spent the whole week there with my family. On the last day he completely shocked me with proposing on the beach at sunset. I thought we were just going to a casual dinner later that night but he had planned it differently.”
“Before we left he told me we were meeting one of our friends who lives down there on the beach for sunset since it was right near the restaurant we planned to go to. Once we got to the beach, he got down on one knee and had a photographer there to capture the moment. I didn’t realize the photographer was there til after I said yes and was crying! It was so beautiful. Then he had made a reservation at this great steakhouse we love and invited my parents to join so it was just perfect. We had a wonderful time celebrating!”
Ally & Paul, thank you so much for having us as a part of your day! It was an absolute dream day, and we loved getting to be a part of it all! You and Paul are such a joy and we are so excited for you two and all that lies ahead in this next chapter of your love story! Cheers to the start of forever! xoxo
