Their Session: In-Home NJ Newborn Session
This in-home NJ newborn session is one for the books! For a little backstory…In 2022, I had the joy of photographing Nicole & Mark’s beautiful wedding at Indian Trail Club! It always brings me a lot of joy when I get to photograph multiple milestones and chapters of a couple’s love story. Getting to celebrate this incredibly special one of their family growing, by taking newborn photos in their home was so special. Seeing these two become parents to the most precious baby girl, Siena, and seeing their pup Harper be the sweetest big sister was so awesome.
The Nursery
Siena’s nursery is so beautiful! I love all the scalloped edge details, timeless wood furniture, and soft touches like the woodland quilt and custom pillow! I always think it’s an important piece of the story to document the nursery space when I take newborn photos. You spend a lot of time dreaming and planning, picking out the littlest details to make a space that feels like home for your newest addition. Capturing how the room looks in a way that reminds you of how it felt is important!
Their Story
I asked Nicole and Mark what their favorite part of being parents is so far. They said, “watching her grow — it’s crazy to see how fast she has changed in such a short period of time. Seeing her more alert and exploring her world has been magical. We can’t wait to see who she becomes!” Nicole also said, “I hope Siena gets Mark’s laid-back and grounded nature.” And Mark said, “I hope Siena gets Nicole’s compassion and fun-loving attitude.”
To the New Parents
Nicole & Mark, what I can tell you is this: Siena is so incredibly lucky to have the best mom & dad, (and big sister in Harper, of course)! Watching your family grow, and you two step into these new roles in a way that makes it look easy is very inspiring.
