2016 was most definitely one for the books. It’s been a year of hustle and focus. A year of growth. It’s been a year filled with learning, connecting, and loving. I am so thankful for every bit of it. As we start the journey into 2017, I wanted to take some time to reflect and look back on 2016. As I sifted through the thousands of images I took this year, I selected some to represent the highlights of the year. I am so excited to share with you photographs from my 2016 weddings, styled shoots, engagements, and anniversary sessions. Looking back at these images brings me so much happiness and gratitude.

2016 Best of Weddings

I can’t believe how lucky I am, that wedding photography is my job. There is nothing quite like being there to document the happiest day of people’s lives. I am so grateful for each of the couples whose weddings I photographed this year, (including two of my sisters)!! I can’t thank you enough for trusting me with capturing your day. It was truly a pleasure to capture all the joy, love and memories of your wedding day.

2016 Best of Styled Shoots

In February 2016, I got to photograph my very first styled shoot, and let’s just say I may be slightly addicted. 🙂 I am passionate about creative collaboration, so being able to take part in styled shoots makes my soul so very happy. It’s been amazing to meet, connect, and collaborate with so many talented creatives, many of whom have become friends. Working together and having everyone bring their own bit of magic to make the vision happen is really special.

2016 Best of Engagements

There were so many incredible moments from this year’s engagement sessions. I got to shoot on a boat for the first time (!!), meet so many adorable fur babies, and even do some traveling! Engagement sessions are one of my favorite parts of the wedding photography experience because I get to spend time getting to know my couples and connecting with them. It’s an amazing feeling when you get to leave a session with two new friends. Many of these even ended in dinner together, just sitting and talking, or having coffee…and in one case, an amazing cannoli ice cream waffle! 😉

2016 Best of Anniversaries

Anniversary sessions are something really close to my heart, and each time I get to photograph a couple and celebrate their years of marriage with them, I am so inspired. Love and marriage are beautiful, and that is worthy of photographing and documenting long after the wedding day.
