When Alex, my best friend since 6th grade, got engaged I was absolutely over the moon! She and her now fiance, Andrew, went on a cruise with her family over New Years, and he proposed to her at sea following a scavenger hunt he had made while on the cruise! So precious! To add to the excitement, Alex asked me to be her maid of honor! Although I undoubtedly am sad that I won’t be photographing their gorgeous wedding in August, there is no where I’d rather be (including behind the camera) than standing by Alex’s side when she says, “I do” to the man of her dreams.
I did still get to photograph these two lovebirds for their engagement session, and I am absolutely obsessed. Although we had hoped for early spring weather, this winter engagement at Fernbrook Farms in South Jersey turned out to be perfect. Alex and Andrew were such troopers trekking through inches of snow and braving the cold for our shoot! Despite cold hands and noses, they never stopped smiling and laughing, and just having the best time. So much love for these two!
