Paige and Ryan’s Asbury Park engagement session was so much fun and crazy adorable!! We explored around Cookman Ave, the unique boardwalk, the beach, of course, and ended the night at The Stone Pony – such a classic!! They even had their pup, Lilly, come for a few photos, which I was ALL for! So blessed for couples who bring their furbabies to their sesh! Although it was bit chilly, these two are such troopers and you would never know that it was so cold out. They were down for anything, and the pictures prove that it was totally worth it!! We caught the perfect golden glow on the boardwalk and a pastel sky over the ocean that was seriously magical! Also, these two have some STYLE – I loved their perfect outfit choices!
Paige & Ryan met on a dating app, so the first time they met was their first date! Paige was taking a continuing ed course in Philly for her job and was staying with her friend that lived there. While she was there, they “matched” on the app! They would never have connected if she didn’t go to that course because she lives about an hour and a half from the city, which is out of the radius to connect! I love stories like this – clearly, these two were meant to be!
Their first date began with them going out to lunch around noon! Their lunch date turned into late afternoon drinks, and while at the bar, they decided to flip a coin to help to decide to either go to Philly or to go back to Ryan’s house and watch a movie! They ended up with the movie! 🙂 At midnight, they decided their date may have needed to end, so they got in Ryan’s car and he drove Paige back to her car. On the way, they stopped for a midnight snack at McDonald’s! Such a cute never-ending first date!!
Paige says, “he proposed in our home! He pretended the washing machine broke and called me to the laundry room. He said something fell out of the machine and then he pulled out the ring box! It was definitely a surprise!” Love this fun and unique proposal story!!
Paige and Ryan, you two are the cutest souls and I am so pumped to celebrate with you at the Park Chateau this winter! Thank you for braving the cold for these adorable photos!! You’re the best! Xoxo
