Their Session: Belmar Beach Pregnancy Announcement
Jess & Matt’s Belmar Beach pregnancy announcement shoot was a blast! We started at the Silver Lake Gazebo, and then made our way onto the beach for the perfect glowy golden hour! These two are so in love and so joyful together. Getting to capture the memories of this exciting season for them was really special. They will be welcoming their baby girl into the family in a few short months, making their adorable furbaby, Oakley, a big brother! I’m so grateful for these two and so excited to share so many favorite photos from this amazing session! First, a little glimpse of their love story!
Their Love Story
When I asked these two to share with me one thing they love about each other, they gave the sweetest answers. They said, “We truly are each others best friends and other halves. We love doing life together.” Jess told me, “I love Matt’s heart and how he is literally always in a good mood every single day. Matt grounds me, protects me, supports me, encourages me; he is my rock.” Matt said, “I love Jessica’s heart and love for her family and friends.”
Jess & Matt first met in school at Coastal Carolina University. Jess told me, “It all started when I was on a shuttle going to campus and the shuttle was full. A tall nice boy was sitting down and got up to offer me his seat… I knew from the moment I met him he was the one for me. After a year of being friends and we started dating and it has been almost 10 years!”
The Proposal
I love the story of how Matt proposed to Jess. Jess gave me the inside scoop. “We were down in the Florida keys at a relatives house. After coming home from dinner, Matt said “let’s go up stairs and look at the stars”. Me being me, I said let me just shower first… poor Matt was waiting while I showered and put on PJs to go look at the stars. The balcony was covered in candles and roses.”
