Candace & David first met in middle school, and as the officiant narrated in their ceremony, in the most adorable middle school kind of way, David had a friend pass on the message to ask Candace if she wanted to be his girlfriend, of course she said yes! 🙂 After years growing up together, these two share so much joy and have so much fun together.
Candace & David have such a special love story and it was such an honor to capture this milestone moment in their journey of life together. They tied the knot at the charming Waterloo Village in Stanhope, NJ and their day was absolutely perfect! All their family and friends were so excited to share in the celebration, not even a little rain could dampen anyone’s spirits! (And this rain actually made for some super cool night portraits during the reception!) The Historic Waterloo Village is such a beautiful venue! Candace & David shared a first look in this little space called the secret garden, and then we ventured all over the grounds for portraits! Literally everywhere you look is another perfect spot for photos. I was in portrait heaven!! 😉
Some of my favorite details of the day were David’s custom designed suit, and his PINEAPPLE cuff links, which naturally made my heart so happy!! 🙂 The simple and classic florals by Lodi Flowers, with lots of pretty eucalyptus were perfect for this venue an wedding day! And one of the coolest things about Waterloo Village was that they included so farm to table fresh items on the menu, like their heirloom tomatoes and berry sauce!
This wedding was no doubt, one for the books! Thank you so much Candace and David for having me be a part of your wedding day! You guys are the best! <3
