Richie asked Carina to marry him on a beautiful beach in Portugal (how magical?!) during their trip there this past August. Carina’s family is from Portugal, and she grew up spending summers there, making it an especially thoughtful location for a proposal.
And speaking of magic, their engagement session was otherworldly. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! When Carina told me she wanted to take engagement photos on the beach, reminiscent of their proposal, I couldn’t wait! (Not to mention my excitement when I found out they’d be bringing their sweet little French Bulldog, Oakley, along!) It was such a joy to photograph these two and their love for each other. Carina and Richie have this chemistry between them that is just so easy to see. No doubt about it, these two were made for each other.
Carina is also an incredibly talented hair and make up artist! She did her own hair and make up for the shoot, and boy was she stunning! 🙂 (See more of her beautiful work here!)
