All of my 2018 fall couples have been blowing my mind with how incredible THEY are, and how absolutely perfect their wedding days are! Melanie and Joe are no exception – they are seriously so sweet and easy going, which makes a wedding day run so smoothly! We had the perfect fall day at Cedar Hill Country Club for their wedding, and it just felt like we were all in a dream all day! I loved the gorgeous burgundy bridesmaids dresses and florals that perfectly fit the early fall tones of September. Oh, and don’t get me started on how perfect their first look was (my fave!!) We had tons of portrait time where we got to explore all around the beautiful grounds of Cedar Hill Country Club and get these two so much variety in their photos! I got to connect with Melanie because one of my lovely 2017 brides, Rachel, is one of her besties! It was so much fun getting to see Rachel and Matt tearing it up on the dance floor again!
My couples are the BEST. For real. Melanie and Joe, made sure to not only request “Shout” for me, but to also pull me out onto the dance floor for it, (you may or may not see me dancing in one of the photos in this blog post. 😉 keep scrolling!) To send their guests off for the night, they had a to-go candy bar, onion rings, White Castle burgers, and so many more snacks – so cute!! And, of course, they had the best sparkler exit, which was the perfect grand finale to an unreal wedding day!
Melanie and Joseph met at Ramapo College through mutual friends! Rachel, actually had classes with Joe and knew him well before we even met! In Melanie’s words, here’s how Joe popped the big question: “He suggested that we both take a day off work and go to a winery and relax – a common thing that we love to do together. When we arrived at the vineyard, we met with the owner who suggested we walk around the vineyard and explore the grounds. As we were walking through we came up to a picnic table, overlooking the vineyard, with roses and wine, which is where he proposed! Afterward we had a private lunch and wine tasting in the main house.” Oh girl, if only all days off of work were that perfect! If you want to take a peek at their adorable LBI engagement session on a boat and by a lighthouse, check it out here!
Melanie and Joseph, you two are such a beautiful reminder of why I do what I do! I am in awe of your love for one another, but even more so for the ones around you. Thank you for being so kind, sweet, so much fun, and such a joy to be around – you both light up a room so easily! I LOVE YOU TWO SOOOOO MUCH!!! Congratulations, newlyweds!!! Xoxo
