Their Session: Cross Estate Gardens Anniversary Session
Jenna & Ryan’s Cross Estate Gardens anniversary session was a special one. I loved getting to document the milestone of two years of marriage with the sweetest couple! They put their wedding attire on, popped some champagne, and celebrate with an evening spent capturing their love in the most beautiful gardens. It was perfect. 🙂
I am so excited about these images! Jenna’s blush wedding dress and Ryan’s blue suit were the perfect vibe for this garden backdrop! I have so many favorite photos, but first I want to share a little bit of their love story!
Their Love Story
When I asked Jenna & Ryan to share with me one thing they love about each other, they gave such sweet answers. Jenna said, “I love how hardworking and motivated Ryan is. He’s also so patient and loving and I appreciate that every single day!!” Ryan said, “I love how strong willed and outspoken Jenna is. I love how she loves so fiercely!”
Jenna & Ryan first met at summer camp back when they were 11 or 12. Jenna said, ” I remember thinking that he was so cute!! Lol! He overheard my friend Danielle call my name. Ryan thought she said “grandma” instead of “Jenna” so he kept calling me grandma for the rest of the summer. We ended up going to the same high school and having crushes on each other at different times. We didn’t start dating until the beginning of our junior year because we were both stubborn!”
Their Proposal & Wedding
Jenna gave me the inside scoop on how Ryan popped the question and what their big day was like! She said, “Ryan proposed to me at Asbury park beach because the beach is one of our favorite places to go together!! My brother and sister in law were there and then after the engagement he planned a lunch back at his parents house with both of our families! It was perfect and exactly what I wanted!”
“We got married at Skyview Golf Club in Sparta. The views were beautiful and we loved that it was a golf course because we both love to golf. Our wedding was the best day. We are part of the same friend group so all of our friends are friends, which made our wedding day so fun. It was just a huge party!”
Jenna told me, “I love that my husband is also my best friend. I love that he’s officially my family and I can’t wait to grow our family in the future!” Ryan said his favorite thing about being married is, “ending my day falling asleep next to Jenna and waking up in the morning next to her.”
