Jordan & Dickie’s Crossed Keys Estate NJ wedding was one for the books! The absolutely stunning design, perfect weather, and unmatched joy in this celebration made for an unforgettable day! The colorful florals and jaw-dropping seating chart and signage were some of my favorite elements of this day! I also LOVED seeing the watercolor artist create such beautiful portraits of the guests during the reception. Thoughtful touches like that make for a memorable guest experience and the most incredible favors! I am so excited to share so many favorite photos from this day…but first, a bit of Jordan & Dickie’s love story.
When I asked Jordan & Dickie to share one thing they love about each other, they gave such sweet answers. Jordan said, “I love how motivated and driven he is while also maintaining a calm and easy going presence.” And Dickie said, “I love how she brings me back down to earth when I need it. She’s very supportive and always there for me.”
Jordan & Dickie grew up in same NJ town, but first met in Nashville believe it or not!! Jordan told me, “I was traveling for work to a client in Knoxville, TN. I traveled a lot with my dad so he suggested at the end of my work trip he would fly and meet me in Nashville to see it together. I was supposed to take a bus that I ended up missing (although I was sitting at the bus station) and ended up taking a 4 hour Uber with a complete stranger (interesting to say the least).”
“Finally, I got there and had breakfast the next morning at Biscuit Love with my dad. While we’re there he said he knew people that he’s close with from a local bar that are also in town if we would like to meet them for a drink. I said absolutely, we had no plans. When we arrived at the Bar we saw my dad’s friends (who happen to be my fiancé’s Aunt and Uncle), along with Dickie, his sister and his mom. Both me and my dad did not know that these two groups of people were related, so it was a surprise to us. We all spent the weekend together going to bars & out to dinner. Dickie took my phone number and the rest is history.”
Dickie proposed to Jordan at a private boat club last July. Jordan told me it happened “on the dock with about 30 people of our family and friends. This is right next to the dock where he has both of his boats. He had a marry me sign and candles leading up to it was beautiful.” Such a thoughtful proposal set up, made extra special since Dickie involved their family and friends in the celebration!
Jordan & Dickie, thank you for having us be a part of your day! It was such an honor and absolute joy to celebrate with you guys and capture the memories of this beautiful day! We are so excited for you guys starting this new chapter of husband and wife! Cheers to the newlyweds!! Sending all our love and the biggest hug! xoxo
