Their Wedding Day: Estate at Florentine Gardens Wedding
Kathryn & Alex’s wedding at the Estate at Florentine Gardens was incredible! When Kathryn first reached out to me about photographing her and Alex’s big day, she told me about how she fell in love with Florentine Gardens! She said, “For me, picking the Florentine Gardens was simple! When I arrived I just knew it was the one! I wanted a venue that was naturally beautiful, with natural light and a lot of windows and OH MY did the Florentine Gardens deliver all of that!!!” It was the perfect venue for these two and the celebration of their marriage! All of the elegant details of their black tie wedding fit perfectly in this gorgeous space!
These two know how to party, and they had a Hank Lane band keeping the dance floor energized all night long! You’ll be able to tell how much I loved this party by all the dancing photos in this blog post! This day was so much fun, and I have so many favorite photos to share! Their Love Story
I asked Kathryn & Alex to share with me one thing they love about each other. Kathryn said, “I love his personality and how his smile and laugh can light up a room! He also is very supportive of me and all that I want to do in life. Nothing feels impossible with him by my side. :)” Alex said, “I love everything about Kathryn! She really is my best friend and I cant imagine my life without her in it.”
Kathryn & Alex grew up in the same town together in Scotch Plains, NJ. As Kathryn tells it, “We met in High School and dated our sophomore year. At the time, it was just young love and we both had a lot of ambition for our futures which included leaving jersey and getting the full college experience, both educational and fun ;)! We had a lot of the same friends from high school so always stayed in touch and after we graduated we reconnected and have been together ever since!”
Alex planned a thoughtful proposal to Kathryn at Batello in Jersey City on December 18, 2021. He even had a photographer there to capture the moment!
