The Session: Hoboken Waterfront Proposal
This Hoboken waterfront proposal is an extra special session to me! When Nick reached out about planning his proposal to Emma and having me photograph it, I was honored to say the least! I’ve photographed both of Nick’s sisters‘ weddings, so it meant the world to be a part of another special family milestone!
I was so impressed with Nick’s thoroughness in planning every little detail of the proposal! From the location, down to the ruse he used to get Emma thinking they had other plans, and the post-engagement celebrations, Nick thought of everything! Including photography, of course! 🙂
Nick so diligently scouted out the spot where he planned to pop the question, sent me photos, and coordinated with me on his timing that day in the most efficient way. With all the thought and preparation that went into this moment, everything went perfectly!! Seeing Emma’s shocked reaction, and getting to capture the moment was so sweet. After giving the big moment some time to process, we took some “newly engaged portraits” in a couple nearby spots including another area of the waterfront, and a nearby park they frequent! The flowering trees were blooming and colorful, and we even go their pup to join for a few photos too! It was perfect!
