This in-home newborn twins session was incredibly special. Melanie and Joseph are practically family at this point. I’ve photographed them several times over the years as bridal party members in friends’ weddings, and their own engagement and wedding photos! 🙂 I love when I get to stay connected with my couples and photograph multiple chapters in their love stories. And even more than that, my favorite is when my couples become dear friends, and that’s what Melanie & Joseph are. I adore these two, and seeing them as parents to the most adorable twins is so amazing. Before we dive into some of the CUTEST photos ever, let me give you a little background on their love story!
I got to photograph Melanie & Joseph’s wedding at Cedar Hill Country Club back in 2018. (Check out their wedding blog post here!) Melanie and Joseph first met at Ramapo College through mutual friends! In Melanie’s words, here’s how Joe popped the big question: “He suggested that we both take a day off work and go to a winery and relax – a common thing that we love to do together. When we arrived at the vineyard, we met with the owner who suggested we walk around the vineyard and explore the grounds. As we were walking through we came up to a picnic table, overlooking the vineyard, with roses and wine, which is where he proposed! Afterward we had a private lunch and wine tasting in the main house.” They then tied the knot in September 2018! 🙂
Now they’re starting this next chapter of their love story as mom and dad to the cutest identical twin boys, Max & Jack!!
Melanie & Joe, thank you so much for having me capture another special milestone for you guys! I couldn’t be happier for you and absolutely love getting to see your family grow! 🙂 Your boys are lucky to have such an amazing mom and dad! Sending you two and the twins the biggest hug and all my love! Congratulations Melanie & Joseph! xoxo
