When I first met Lexie, she was such a sweetheart, we instantly clicked. I had a blast chatting with her about her wedding day over coffee. Ever since, I’ve been eagerly awaiting the day I could get Lexie and Mickey in front of my camera. After a few rain delays we finally lucked out and got PERFECT weather for their engagement session. We did the shoot in Spring Lake, NJ, and visited Divine Park and the nearby beach!
I’m a sucker for good stories, and Lexie and Mickey have lots of them! Lexie told me that on their first date, Mickey left his keys at the restaurant because he was so distracted. 🙂 They had to walk back to the restaurant close to midnight, where the restaurant manager was waiting outside, keys in hand, for them to show up.
The day Lexie and Mickey closed on their first home together, Mickey popped the question! Mickey asked Lexie to meet him at the house with a tape measure to plan for furniture, but there was much more than furniture shopping being planned! When they arrived at the house and opened the door, Lexie’s mom and sister were waiting inside, video camera rolling. It was that moment when Mickey got down on one knee and asked Lexie to be his wife. 🙂
Just looking at their smiles, you can tell how much joy Lexie and Mickey bring each other, and how much fun they have together. They’re a perfect match! I absolutely loved spending the evening with this incredibly kind-hearted couple in Spring Lake!
Thank you so much, Lexie & Mickey! I cannot wait to celebrate your marriage with you this fall!!
