Their Session: Lifestyle Family Photos in Bradley Beach, NJ
These lifestyle family photos in Bradley Beach are some of my favorites that I’ve taken! Firstly, it’s always special to me when I get to photograph my best friends! I’ve been friends with Thiana since college, and have had the honor of photographing all her family milestones, from their Costa Rica destination wedding, to their in-home maternity photos, and family photos, too! The best part of being a photographer is hands down, getting to photograph people’s stories through so many different chapters. It’s just the sweetest cherry on top when those people are also your best friends! 🙂
I always love photographing Thiana & Brendan because they do such a great job of being in the moment. Their focus during our sessions is always on connection with each other. I think these photos encapsulate the energy of their toddler and the wild-feeling laughter of this stage in life raising their son. They love spending time at the beach as a family, so it feels like a “second home” and very “them” meaningful backdrop for their family photos!
It was so fun letting their son explore the beach and run around. He chased seagulls, jumped in holes, and tackled mom and dad with big hugs. Letting him be himself made for some of the most personality-filled photos that feel quintessential to this season of boyhood! I feel like these will be the kinds of photos that will one day transport the whole family back to this season of life for a good reminisce.
