Their Wedding Day: Magnanini Winery Wedding
Kristin & David’s Magnanini Winery wedding was an absolute joy of a day! These two said their “I dos” in front of a stunning backdrop of rolling vineyard hills, surrounded by family and friends who magnified the excitement of this day! There were so many personalized touches that Kristin and David included to make their wedding day feel uniquely special to them. Here are just a few of my favorites!
The invitations were a collaborative DIY effort by a very talented set of ladies! Kristin’s mom and sister painted the water color elements and Kristin designed them! Those art pieces were used in other signage throughout the day too! To continue on that watercolor theme, Kristin and David hire a super talented watercolor artist to paint the guests as favors during the reception!
Kristin wore her mom’s wedding veil (modified with some lace from her own wedding dress), which was so beautiful and perfectly fit with her dress! Not to mention the sentimental factor of getting to wear a piece of her mom’s wedding look! Kristin & David also cut their wedding cake an heirloom historic family sword, that was so special! I also loved that instead of a bouquet toss, Kristin surprised her mom by dedicating the bouquet to her after cake cutting!
I have so many favorite photos and moments from this day! I’m so excited to share them! First, a little bit of Kristin & David’s love story!
Their Love Story
I asked Kristin and David to share with me one thing they love about each other. Kristin said she loves that, “David’s incredibly supportive and thoughtful as a life partner. He does everything with care and attention. I’m so grateful for his empathy and his heart!” And David said, “Kristin always makes me feel like I have a home, both in my heart and in how she takes such good care of our household!”
The Proposal
You’ve got to hear how David popped the question! Kristin gave me the details. She said, “David proposed on March 2, 2024 at Nubuluz, the rooftop restaurant at the Ritz Carlton Nomad, after 2.5yr of dating. Two weeks earlier, on Valentine’s day, David told me he scheduled us for a date to get massages at the Ritz followed by High Tea at their rooftop. I had been raving about their massages ever since the year before when David’s work brought us there, so I figured this was just an extra special Valentine’s Day surprise!”
“That morning, it was pouring rain, but David convinced me the Ritz was fancy enough to bring a nice dress to change into after our massages. (Spoiler, David never actually got a massage!) I enjoyed a nice long relaxing aromatherapy massage and then dressed for tea, while David was putting the final pieces of his plan into place. Afterward, with way too much massage oil in my hair, we went upstairs to the rooftop for tea. The hostess brought us to a table with the best view and two dozen red roses on display. As I sat down, David was immediately on one knee, and accomplished his goal of completely catching me by surprise with the most romantic and unsuspecting moment!”
To the Newlyweds
Kristin & David, thank you so much for having us as a part of your wedding day! It was absolutely perfect and such a joy to celebrate your marriage with you! You two have a magnetic energy that is so easy to celebrate! We can’t wait to see all that’s ahead in this next chapter for you guys! Cheers to the start of forever! Congratulations, newlyweds!!
