As the rain poured down last Friday afternoon, I knew that what ever the weather, it was going to be an incredible start to the 2017 wedding season. Michelle & Ryan tied the knot at the gorgeous and recently opened venue, the Park Chateau in East Brunswick, NJ. They celebrated their start to forever surrounded by a joyous celebration of family and friends. Their day was nothing short of a fairy tale.
Michelle is a dear friend of mine, and one of the sweetest people I know. Michelle was a positively gorgeous bride, and these two seriously looked like they belong in a magazine!! It was such a blessing to be able to be a part of this special day and celebrate alongside Michelle and Ryan, and so many of their loved ones.
There’s no doubt in my mind that Michelle and Ryan are meant to be. As was highlighted in more than one of the evening’s speeches, these two compliment each other perfectly, and simply make a great team. You could just feel the love and joy from every single guest in attendance who was so happy to see these two begin their forever as Mr. & Mrs. Magee.
Each beautiful detail of the day was carefully planned and curated. From Michelle’s AMAZING shoes that she had to track down from a shop in Canada, to the gorgeous silver tray that she carefully polished and down to the elegant custom velvet ring box – everything was perfect. Michelle is also an extremely talented hair and make up artist, and she and her team at Michelle Elise Artistry did a stunning job on all the hair and make up! I cannot wait to share all the pretty and all the sweet moments from their day!
Michelle and Ryan had one of the greatest gift exchanges ever! Michelle planned elaborate gifting scheme to surprise Ryan, who is big on watches, with a special watch to add to his collection and wear on his wedding day. Like a nesting doll, she had boxes within boxes, and totally threw Ryan for a loop when she put the watch box inside an empty shoe box. Ryan’s reaction was PRICELESS! And Ryan’s gift for Michelle couldn’t have been more perfect. The morning of the wedding, Michelle realized she had forgotten her earrings, and left them at home. It just so happened that Ryan got Michelle a perfect pair of earrings to wear down the aisle. These two are such great gifters!! I love it!
They started their celebration right, with a fabulous jazz trio setting the tone of cocktail hour, and the most amazing freshly homemade mozzarella cheese – it was to die for!
