Their Session: Morris Arboretum Fall Engagement
Liz & Corey’s Morris Arboretum Fall engagement session was so much fun! Morris Arboretum is one of those locations that is simply STUNNING year round. Seeing the fall plants blooming and all the foliage from the surrounding trees was absolutely gorgeous and the perfect backdrop for their session! These two are the cutest together, and had perfect fall outfits to fit the vibe! I am in love with their session and can’t wait to share many favorite photos from our afternoon together. But first…their love story!
Their Love Story
Liz and Corey’s love story goes way back! They first met when they were 5 years old playing soccer on the same team. Liz told me, “We grew up in the same hometown and Corey was friends with one of my brothers so he was always over. (I’m a triplet). Corey and I also both worked together at a restaurant as hosts/bussers. Corey was very shy so we didn’t start hanging out until our senior year of high school and the rest is history.”
When I asked Liz & Corey to share with me one thing they love about each other, they gave the sweetest answers. Liz said, “I love Corey’s everyday acts of kindness that show me how much he cares and his patience with me and Benny as well!” Corey said, “I love how caring and giving Liz is. She always brightens up the day and brings happiness!”
The Proposal
Corey proposed to Liz in such a thoughtful way! Liz gave me the inside scoop. She said, “Corey and I had been wanting to go to the beach for awhile so we booked a hotel for the weekend in LBI. We had a great day on the beach and then got ready to go out to dinner and had some seafood outside with a live band playing. We went for a walk on the beach after and that’s when he got down on one knee!”
