Their Session: Morris Plains In-Home Newborn Session
A year ago, I got to photograph Caitlin & Evan’s Park Savoy wedding. Since then, they’ve adopted the sweetest pup, bought a home, and brought their baby boy, Daniel, into the world! It’s been such a special year with so many beautiful milestones for their family, and it means the world to me to get to photograph them!
Their Morris Plains In-Home Newborn Session was so much fun! I loved getting to reconnect and celebrate all these milestones with them! I loved seeing Daniel’s nursery that’s decorated in the cutest dinosaur theme (including the perfect dino bookshelf)! And getting to meet their adorable poodle, Albert, was the best. He’s so sweet and is already the best big brother. He loved being close to Daniel for pictures and giving him kisses.
Welcome Baby Daniel
I asked Caitlin & Evan what they’re loving most about being parents so far. Caitlin said, “It is so fun to watch Daniel develop and grow each day, he smiled at me the other day and I completely melted. There is this immense unconditional love for him – we’ve tapped into a part of ourselves that I would have never known existed before him. It has also made our relationship with each other evolve. Watching Evan become a dad and his love for our child has been such a joy and made my love grow for him even more.”
When I asked what qualities they hope Daniel gets from each of them, Evan said, “I hope he gets Caitlin’s smarts, and her emotional intelligence.” Caitlin said, “I hope he gets Evan’s patience and easy going nature.”
To the New Parents
Caitlin & Evan, thank you so much for having me document yet another beautiful chapter in your love story. It was an absolute highlight getting to meet your baby boy, and see you two so gracefully filling your new roles as mom and dad. Daniel is so lucky to have you, and I can already see the abundance of joy that lies ahead for your family. Enjoy all the newborn snuggles and soak in every moment with your little one.
