Their Session: NJ In-Home Family Session
This NJ in-home family session was so much fun to photograph! I love photographing couples, babies, and families in their homes. An in-home session has an added layer of personality and meaning that I think is so meaningful! Mary & Andrew’s beautiful home was filled with light high ceilings. The space felt so intentionally designed and was the perfect setting for us to take family photos in!
Mary & Andrew have been together for almost 9 years and, have been married for 5. Their family grew to three when they welcomed their sweet baby girl, Juliana, last fall! It was so special to document their little girl turning one by doing a family session for them in their gorgeous home. Juliana is the happiest little girl! Her beaming smiles and giggles were absolutely contagious! She is such a bundle of joy to photograph!!
The Nursery
Juliana’s nursery is so gorgeously designed with the cutest floral details! I always love to photograph the nursery during in-home sessions! Nurseries are so carefully designed and styled to feel like home for your little one. I’m always extra sentimental about these spaces. When you think about it, some day these rooms will look different as little ones grow up. But when you want to look back and remember what it was like when they were little, capturing their spaces will help transport you back. That’s why I always think it’s special to preserve the memory of how their room looks now while they’re little! Those photographs tell a special piece of the story!
