Their Session: NJ Lifestyle Newborn Session at Home
I always love an at home session, and baby boy Dean’s NJ lifestyle newborn session was no exception! I had the privilege of photographing Tera & Matt’s Asbury Hotel wedding several years ago, so it was extra special to me to photograph them again! (But this time as a family of three!)
I asked Tera & Matt what they’re loving about being parents so far. They said, “We’re having so much fun watching him discover himself and the world around him. He’s just beginning to smile intentionally and it’s awesome to see what makes him happy. Also he has the cutest funniest face, so we’re loving staring at him all day :)”
When I asked what qualities they each hope Dean acquires from each other, they gave the sweetest answers. Tera said, “I hope Dean gets Matt’s easygoing nature and sense of assuredness in himself. I hope he gets both of our curiosity, silliness, love of travel, and taste in music.” Matt said, “I hope Dean gets Tera’s sense of humor and silliness along with her intelligence and determination.”
The Nursery
Dean’s nursery was so beautifully decorated in a fun Babar theme! Since I have always loved Tera’s sense of style, I knew I’d love how they decorated their home, too! The colorful touches, unique furniture, and charming architectural details made for such a lovely room!
To the New Parents
Tera & Matt, Dean is so lucky to have the best parents! I already know he’s going to grow up so loved! Thank you for having me photograph your newborn session!
