These NJ newborn family photos at home are incredibly sentimental to me. 7 years ago, I had the honor of photographing Lauren & Nick’s wedding at Scotland Run. Little did I know, Lauren would become one of my closest friends for a lifetime. Now as they celebrate their seven year anniversary, they’ve got a home filled with the love of three precious little girls (and two big, fluffy furbabies)! What an absolute joy it’s been to continue photographing every beautiful chapter of their love story through the years!
Seeing their eldest two daughters loving on their new baby sister, and giggling with each other, was the sweetest thing! I loved being able to capture their family in a way that felt authentic to them.
Lifestyle newborn sessions at home create a naturally comfortable environment for taking family photos. I love capturing families in their own spaces, as it adds a whole extra layer of personality and intimacy. Some day when looking back on photos of this season of life, I think it will be extra special to remember what home looked like, too.
Especially when older siblings are involved, like these two big sisters, I think having newborn photos at home feels especially natural & special. Being able to take photos in the nursery too, is always special. I remember when this nursery was first used for their middle daughter, and we took her newborn photos in the same space. Now a new little one is making this room home. 🙂
Lauren & Nick, I don’t even have words for how much your friendship means to me. It’s such an honor and a joy to get to not only see your beautiful family grow, but to get to photograph you guys through every season. I am so excited that your newest little lady has joined the crew, and can’t wait to watch her grow. I love you all so very much! Happy anniversary!! Can’t wait to see what the next 7 years brings! xoxo
