Their Wedding Day: Park Chateau Summer Wedding

Jaimie & Dom’s Park Chateau Summer wedding was such a fun day! I loved getting to celebrate these two and see their wedding vision come to life for the most perfect day! Park Chateau is always one of my favorite venues to photograph a wedding day! The grounds are beautiful everywhere you look, and the staff always makes the wedding day an amazing experience for couples! Jaimie & Dom’s day was no exception. It was such an awesome day with some extra unique and fun details like after party signature cocktails & a neon sign! I can’t wait to share all the photos, but first, a little bit of their love story!

Their Love Story

When I asked Jaimie & Dom to share with me one thing they love about each other, they gave the sweetest answers. Jaimie said, “Dom is my rock, I love how supportive and patient he is with me.” Dom said, “I love how caring Jaimie is!”

These two first met back in high school. Dom is a couple years older than Jaimie, but they both played sports growing up. Jaimie said, “A few of my friends and I would actually play small pick up basketball games against him and his friends after school and that’s where I first met him! We started to get to know each other more and started dating when I was a sophomore and he was a senior. We have been together ever since (11 years)!!!”

The Proposal

You’ve got to hear how Dom proposed to Jaimie! She tells it best, “We had been discussing going to The Edge in NYC for some time! Every year his mom likes to go see the tree in NYC for her birthday so he asked if before we met them there if I wanted to go to The Edge.”

“When we were there, we stood in line to take a picture at the point where all the beautiful views where, where he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!!!! He hired a photographer to capture the moment and then we continued to take beautiful pictures at the top of The Edge and the many areas at the Hudson Yards. He then had planned a late lunch on the water in Hoboken where we met our families! After dinner, we went back to our apartment and our close friends were there to continue our celebration!!!” How perfect is that!?

To the Newlyweds

Jaimie & Dom, thank you so much for having me as a part of your wedding day! It was such a joy to be a part of your day, and capture all the memories of your day. I couldn’t be happier for you guys as you start this next chapter of your love story! I can’t wait to see all that lies ahead for you two! Sending you both all my love and the biggest hug!
