Rachel and Bill said their I dos at St. Denis Church in Manasquan, New Jersey on a perfect June sunny day. For their reception they danced the night away at Spring Lake Bath and Tennis Club with their family and friends. Rachel and Bill loved this venue for it’s unique outdoor aspects like the Olympic size swimming pool and private tunnel leading straight to the ocean. To add to the romantic atmosphere, these two had their first date walking along this very same beach in Spring Lake, making this location extra special.
Rachel and Bill’s wedding day was so perfectly “them”. Every beautiful detail was just stunning with different shades of blue and accents of peony pink. Rachel wore a necklace that was a gift from Bill and Bill carried an embroidered pocket square from Rachel. I loved the way Rachel incorporated legacy into their wedding day by re-purposing her mom’s wedding gloves, as a wrap for her bouquet. Rachel also gifted her dad these special cuff links with a sentimental photo and handwritten note.
Some of my favorite parts of Rachel & Bill’s wedding day were Bill’s heart-string-pulling reaction to Rachel walking down the aisle, portraits with their sweet, fluffy fur baby named Zuke, Rachel’s dance with her dad to Tom Petty’s “Wildflowers” (one of my all time favorite songs), and sunset husband and wife portraits on top of the balcony deck overlooking the beach. Not to mention, I also got to work with some of my favorite people, Justin & Steph of Tone Media. They’re insanely talented videographers, and good friends of mine. Their same day preview video they showed at the reception was unreal, and I can’t wait to see what magic they work for Rachel & Bill’s full wedding film!
