Boy, do I have a great story to share with you guys today! 🙂 Last October, Rachel and Nick planned to go pumpkin picking in North Jersey. When they arrived at the pumpkin patch it was packed with people. Normally, that would have been reason enough to just come back another day, but Nick had been talking about this pumpkin patch and how excited he was the whole week prior, so Rachel decided to stick it out. Once they got off the hayride, Nick pointed out a specific pumpkin that looked good and they went to check it out. When they got over to the pumpkin Rachel noticed there was writing on it, and was about to tell Nick they couldn’t take it because someone had written on it, but before she said anything, realized it said “Will you marry me Rachel?”. Rachel was speechless when she turned to Nick, down on one knee. How sweet is that proposal story!?!
Last week, I had the privilege of taking Rachel and Nick’s engagement photos at Joe Palaia Park and Pier Village in Long Branch, NJ. It was an unseasonably warm fall day that felt a lot more like summer, and we took full advantage! I loved spending time exploring, laughing, and soaking up one of the last warm days of the year with Rachel and Nick! Can’t wait for their wedding next year!
