I don’t know about about you, but I am so over this winter weather! Since it’s officially Spring I think it’s time for some sunshine and warm temperatures! Luckily for me, I got to escape NJ (and the snow!) for a weekend and head down to Winter Park, Florida for a super special anniversary session! 🙂 If you’re craving some sunshine too, you’re in luck because I’m going to share this sweet & sunny session with you now!
My sister Amanda and her husband Josh are seriously such an inspiration to me. Two years of marriage for these lovebirds are already in the books! I can’t believe it was just over two years ago I was down here in Florida photographing their wedding day (and doing double duty as a bridesmaid). It feels like yesterday and a decade ago all at the same time. Amanda & Josh are simply meant for each other and I couldn’t picture them any other way. I am so happy that my big sister found the perfect husband to laugh with, dream with, be silly with, and dance through life with.
Amanda & Josh first met while we were on a family scuba diving vacation down in Bonaire. They instantly connected, and spent long nights talking and swinging in the hammock overlooking the ocean at our hotel. It’s crazy to think back to that vacation, and see them now, being married for just over two years! We decided to make it a tradition every year for me to come visit them in Florida to take anniversary photos, and I happen to think it’s the BEST tradition ever. 🙂 I love that I get to keep on telling their story and photographing them every year. This year for their anniversary we decided to go to Rollins College, and this location was awesome! All the beautiful architecture, lush greenery, and of course the adorable cat who followed us around for the second half of the shoot, made this campus the perfect spot for Amanda & Josh’s two year anniversary session.
Thank you Amanda & Josh for bringing me down to Florida for our anniversary photo shoot tradition. I love you guys!! Cheers to two years of marriage down, and many more years to go!
