Their Wedding Day: Scotland Run Wedding
Ashley & Tyler’s Scotland Run wedding was perfect from start to finish! I adore these two and couldn’t be happier to celebrate them and their marriage on this beautiful day! There was a little bit of rain on their day, but it didn’t dampen the absolute joy surrounding these two! And as they say, it brings good luck!
I’m so excited to share more photos from this gorgeous Scotland Run wedding, but first, let me share a little bit of their love story!
Their Love Story
I asked Ashley & Tyler to share one thing they love about each other! Tyler said, “No matter how much of a pain I can be she is always there for me and is always my biggest supporter.” Ashley said, “Tyler is my absolute best friend. He continuously pushes me to be the best version of myself.”
How They Met
Ashley & Tyler met through a mutual friend. They started talking and he asked Ashley to go to junior prom with him! As Ashley tells it, “he then asked me to be his girlfriend by getting my favorite dessert (the triple chocolate meltdown from Applebee’s). That was the moment I knew he was a keeper, lol! We started dating in high school. Right after high school, Tyler left for the military. He served 6 years in the army. Long distance was very difficult but we knew from the BEGINNING that we would do anything to make it work! With Tyler being in the military, he was stationed all over the place! In 2017, he was relocated to Fort Campbell, Kentucky which was actually the closest location yet! I graduated college in 2017 and decided to go out there and stay with him! We got our first house together there.”
The Proposal
You’ve got to hear how Tyler proposed! Ashley gave me the inside scoop! She told me, “He proposed on June 2, 2017 right before he left for ranger school. Tyler is back home now so we can finally start planning the wedding of our dreams! He proposed in our empty living room the first night we stayed at the house together! It was so sweet and special and a total surprise!!”
