Their Wedding: Sterlingbrook Farm Wedding, Pittstown NJ
Kelly & Sean’s Sterlingbrook Farm wedding was a dream come true! Their furbaby, Mina, got to be a part of the ceremony and photos (huge shout out to Pawfect for You, for making it so smooth & easy!) Kelly and Sean included so many fun ways to engage their guests, like lawn games, a pizza food truck, and shots of a local liquor as escort cards! They did such an incredible job planning a day that was so THEM!
One of my favorite things was that Kelly & Sean decided to exchange private vows they had written to each other during their first look. It was so sweet and intimate and incredibly special. As if that wasn’t all perfect enough, the cherry on top of this day was the epic rainbow that appeared during the reception right before sunset! Are we kidding?! It was unreal! I can’t wait to share so many favorite photos from this day, but first let me share a little bit about Sean and Kelly’s love story!
Their Love Story
When I asked Kelly & Sean to share one thing they love about each other, Sean said, “Kelly is very caring and kind. It could be the first time she ever meets you but she will always make sure you feel comfortable and welcome!” Kelly said, “Sean is the sweetest, most loyal, and genuine person I’ve ever met! He’s my teammate and my equal. No gender roles! We both cook and clean and we both work hard. He’s incredible.”
How they Met
Kelly & Sean first met through mutual friends at a Halloween party in 2015. Sean was a lumberjack and Kelly was a football player. After they connected they could not stop talking! A few days after the party, Sean took Kelly on their first date to a small BYOB Lebanese restaurant. They realized they had a lot in common, including a passion for health and trying new things. 6 months later they moved in together and have been inseparable ever since!
The Proposal
Want to hear how Sean proposed?! Kelly tells it best! She said, “Sean and I got engaged on President’s Day weekend in Stowe, VT. We planned to go hiking in the snow and he planned his proposal at a frozen waterfall on the Glenn Moss trail. The most surprising part – he hired a VT photographer to capture the moment. I was very impressed with him!”
To the Newlyweds
Kelly & Sean, you two are such a joy and I am so honored you had me be a part of this incredibly special day! It was absolutely perfect in every way! I am so excited for you two to start this next chapter as Mr. & Mrs.!! Congratulations newlyweds! Cheers to the journey so far, and all that lies ahead!
