Avensole Winery is a gorgeous wedding venue nestled in the hills of wine country in Temecula, California. There are so many things to love about this venue! Avensole Winery, Temecula Wedding Venue: The History
“Avensole Winery is especially rich in the history of Southern California wine making. The property was first planted with wine grapes in 1969 by wine making pioneer Vince Cilurzo, who introduced Petite Syrah and Chenin Blanc. Development of the Avensole vineyard was completed in 1986 by Bud Van Roekel, who planted Muscat Canelli, Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel. It was Bud’s goal to spare no expense to produce the finest grapes in California. We think he succeeded, and that the grapes produced by our vineyard are the finest in Temecula, and some of the very best in all of California. Great fruit – as grapes are called in our industry – is what allows us to produce great wines.” […]

Bridal Cottage
I absolutely love this tucked-away bridal getting ready cottage on site at Avensole Winery! This natural light-filled and airy cottage has space for doing hair and makeup and hanging out. Both the bridal cottage & groom suite are available to the couple at 11am, which allows for ample getting ready time! The spacious restroom is super convenient, and the bedroom makes for cute pajama photos with your girls! In addition to indoor areas, the back doors of the cottage open up to a pretty outdoor courtyard space. The views of the rolling vineyard hills in the background are PERFECT for photos! The beauty & privacy of this space make it perfect for first looks with dad, or pre-ceremony photos with your bridesmaids!
Groom Suite
The groom suite at Avensole Winery is connected to the main venue building. This room has a cool masculine vibe, and is the perfect space for the groom & groomsmen to get ready. Right outside, there are many scenic spots to take pre-ceremony or pre-first look photos in the vineyards!
Outdoor Ceremony Space
The outdoor wedding ceremony space at Avensole Winery is simply stunning. Overlooking the hills of Temecula, this is a perfect spot to exchange vows. The wine barrels you see throughout the space are provided by Avensole Winery and included for use in your ceremony! This venue offers both indoor and outdoor wedding ceremony options for wedding ceremonies. Certainly, that’s a huge factor to consider for couples wanting a venue with a weather contingency plan!
Outdoor Cocktail Hour
I love the option to have cocktail hour outside so your guests can enjoy the open air and fresh evening breeze! This space transitions the flow of your day well since it quickly engages guests in cocktail hour right after they exit the ceremony. Because of the beautiful Southern California climate, it makes sense to capitalize on as much open air time as possible!
Reception Space
One of my favorite features is that Avensole Winery’s ballroom can be partially open air. Because the ballroom opens up to an outdoor covered patio, with string lights and stunning vineyard views it makes for a great extra space for guests to relax, a kids table area, and a place for favors/additional treats, etc! The ballroom itself feels so clean and elegant with tons of beautiful natural light.
Vineyards & Grounds at Temecula Wedding Venue: Avensole Winery
There are seemingly endless portrait locations throughout the grounds at this Temecula wedding venue. The rolling hills and beautiful vineyards make for the dreamiest husband and wife portraits!
