Their Wedding Day: The Meadow Wood Wedding
Alyssa and Matt’s The Meadow Wood wedding was absolutely incredible. The energy, joy, and excitement from these two and their guests was unreal! It was a rainy day, but that didn’t stop any of the fun. (Just wait til you see some of the dancing photos during the reception – I’m obsessed!) Every little detail was elegant and put together beautifully…from the gorgeous invites made by the bride herself, to the monogrammed edible drink toppers I am in love with every piece!! I can’t wait to share so many favorite photos from this wedding! But first…a little bit of their love story!
Their Love Story
When I asked Matt & Alyssa to share with me one thing they love about each other, Matt said, “I love how caring she is and how she puts everyone first before herself.” Alyssa said, “I love how affectionate he is and how he can put a smile on anyone’s face.”
These two first met on bumble, and after chatting a bit realized they grew up a town over from each other and had a lot in common. Alyssa liked football, Matt played football, and they’re both Italian! You’ve got to hear their proposal story!
The Proposal
Alyssa gave me the inside scoop! She said, “Matt asked if we should go to dinner one day in Hoboken (we do this here and there) and before dinner walk along the water and maybe get a drink at Pier 13. When we showed up Pier 13 wasn’t open but decided to go for a walk on the 12th Street pier and we walked down and then started chatting about how far we’ve come. We both lived in Hoboken, were working in Manhattan, moved out of Hoboken, COVID, moving into Clark together, etc. He started to get down on 1 knee and his old roommate was actually there taking pictures! The pictures came out so nice and beautiful, and I’m obsessed with the skyline on the piers so it was all very perfect and very me!” How sweet is that?!
To the Newlyweds
Alyssa & Matt, you two are pure joy, and it was such an honor to be a part of your wedding day! We had a blast with you guys and your awesome bridal party crew throughout the day! 🙂 I’m so excited for you both and all the adventures that lie ahead in this next chapter!
