Their Session: Van Vleck Gardens Engagement
Jess & Paul’s Van Vleck Gardens Engagement session checked off every box for the perfect fall garden engagement session! They had the most perfect outfit choices (I still can’t get over the sleeves on Jess’s dress!), a dreamy garden location in Montclair, NJ, and we had beautiful foliage on this autumn day! These two are so much fun! We had a blast exploring every gorgeous corner of Van Vleck Gardens!
Their Love Story
When I asked Jess & Paul to share with me one thing they love about each other, they gave the sweetest answers. Jess told me, “I love how Paul can walk into any room and can literally start a conversation and can become friendly with everyone he meets – it’s something I really admire about him.” Paul said, “I love Jess’s consideration and care that she has for me and others. I always appreciate the team effort in the relationship and she certainly is all about the team!”
These two first met virtually via a dating app during the pandemic. When I asked Jess about the day they first met, she told me, “We technically met twice. For the first time virtually over a dating app and the second when we were able to meet in person. Paul and I first matched in the first few days of the pandemic, so it would certainly be a while until we could meet in person. We Facetimed for about two months before we ever met in person for our first date! Definitely unconventional!”
Jess also told me about the day Paul proposed! She said, “We dated for about two and a half years before Paul popped the question the day after this past Christmas. I thought we were going on a double date at this restaurant right on the water in Tarrytown, NY, but instead, he proposed! It was everything I could have ever dreamed of.”
