Trish and Dan are seriously the BEST. They’re the kind of people who bring so much light to those around them, that you can’t help but want to be BFFs with them. Trish and Dan are truly a reminder of how lucky I am that wedding photography brings so many incredible people into my life. I’m so thankful I get to call them friends far beyond just my clients. They’re just the kindest and most loving couple ever.. okay, I’m obsessed, you get it! Let me tell you about their big day! 🙂
These two tied that knot in Saratoga Springs, NY at Hall of Springs, which was an incredible venue with tons of perfect photo locations. We did some epic golden hour shots by the reflecting pool, which was just pure magic; (like the one at the top of this post)! I think Dan’s reaction to seeing Trish at their first look is probably one of my all time favorites – she literally took his breath away, and you can just feel all the love and excitement these two were feeling about starting their forever together. Their officiant was a close friend, and I think we all had way too much fun with the bobblehead figurine of him that kept showing up throughout the entire day! The whole day was so full of love surrounded by lots of family and friends (they had close to 300 guests!) joining in the festive celebration.
One of the (many) things I loved most about their day was how they incorporated all of the little details that meant so much to them. Trish’s purse was the same purse that her mom and sisters all used on their own wedding day, she wore rings are from each of her grandmothers, and her handkerchief with sweet, little blue embroidery was from Dan’s mother. I love the family heirloom pieces that make a wedding day just that much more special. Their close friends and family also helped play a role in the details of their day by gifting them Mr. and Mrs. champagne glasses and a cake cutter set! One of the bridesmaids, Marisa, has an awesome photo booth company, Hypebooth, which of course made an appearance at the reception with a stunning gold backdrop! Another bridesmaid, Kristen, of Kristen Dufour Designs, created all of the beautiful paper goods! Trish & Dan’s love for wine made special appearances throughout the night from awesome DIY wine bottle table number holders, cork seating cards, and wine barrel card box!!
I had an amazing time capturing Trish and Dan’s start to forever; it was nothing short of incredible with all of the love and joy in every aspect of the day. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Heubel! I love you guys and am so thankful for you! Wishing you guys a lifetime of happiness!
