Their grandparents were long-time friends, so Colleen & Jonathan had basically known each other forever, when they started dating after college. Jonathan happens to live super close to the incredible Smithville Park in Eastampton, NJ that’s filled with historic buildings, woods for hiking, and peaceful docks overlooking a lake. For their first date, Jonathan took Colleen on a walk through Smithville Park to show her a really cool tree. It was absolutely perfect that we revisited the park, and that same cool tree for their engagement photos! 🙂
Jonathan proposed to Colleen the night she returned home from a trip. After a very long flight, she was greeted at the airport by her dad, and to her surprise, Jonathan! He had told her he was working that night, so Colleen was totally surprised to see him. There at the airport, Jonathan asked Colleen to spend forever together.
I had the best time photographing these two! They were troopers in the cold winter weather and so much fun! The joy that Colleen & Jonathan share is so genuine, and their smiles and laughter are downright contagious. You can feel the love between them just by the way they look at each other.
