Their Session: Spring Maternity Session at Cross Estate Gardens
Dinah and Greg’s Spring maternity session at Cross Estate Gardens was such a blast! These two are so photogenic and so fun to be around! I loved getting to capture this sweet chapter of their love story! I loved that their style brought even more floral/springy atmosphere to the shoot! Dinah & Greg will be welcoming their baby boy into the world in a few short weeks! This maternity session was such a great way to celebrate! Before we dive into some of my favorite pics, let me tell you a little more about these soon-to-be parents!
Their Love Story
Want to hear how these two met? As Dinah tells it, “We met through a mutual friend in 2015 who said for months “you’re the same person”. When I met Greg, I never thought I’d ever encounter someone who spoke more than me or was more enthusiastic than I am. And I did. Within a few weeks, we began to realize we had 2, 3, 4 and more connections through our other friends and family members.”
For date nights they love going on adventures. They like to take cooking classes, go to arts & craft markets, or attend poetry readings! These days their dates are “more like cozy evenings at home watching our favorite movies and cooking our favorite meals. Like stir fry, skirt steak with Greg’s divine homemade chimichurri, and the like.”
When I asked Dinah & Greg what they are excited about in regards to becoming parents, I loved their responses! Dinah said, “Greg and I both bring a lot of love, energy, and warmth to everything we do. But more than that, we have complementary traits that we are so excited to share with our baby boy when he gets here. I’m a language nerd (I speak many, many languages) and I write novels and short stories in my free time (trying to get a literary agent and book deal, in addition to working my full time job!).”
“Greg is a sports fanatic, a math nerd, and is about to finish grad school to be a high school math teacher. Three years ago he totally changed careers and is going to be such a wonderful teacher. I think we’re just looking forward to bringing out the best in each other to introduce our babe to everything life has to offer.”
